Understanding the process for receiving your TRECCERT exam results and the options for retaking the exam, if necessary, is key to planning your certification journey. This guide provides all the essential information to help you stay on track.

Receiving Your TRECCERT Exam Results

Timeline for Results

  • Exam results are sent via email by the TRECCERT Examination Manager.

  • Candidates can expect to receive their results within 5–7 business days of completing the exam.

Format of Results

The email will indicate whether the candidate has passed or failed. Successful candidates will also receive instructions for applying for their certification, including:

  • The Certification Application Form

  • The Experience Verification Form

Unsuccessful candidates will receive information on retake options and associated timelines.

Validity of Exam Results

Exam results are valid for one year from the date of the exam. Candidates must complete the certification application process within this timeframe.

Retake Eligibility

Candidates who do not pass the exam on their first attempt are eligible for retakes under the following conditions:

  • First Retake: Candidates can schedule their first retake 90 days after the initial exam.

  • Retake fee: €99

  • Subsequent Retakes: For each additional retake, candidates must wait one year after their last attempt.

  • Full exam price applies to subsequent retakes.

How to Schedule a Retake

  1. Contact the TRECCERT Examination Manager at examination@treccert.com to request a retake.

  2. Pay the applicable retake fee.

  3. Follow the same scheduling process as outlined for the initial exam.

Tips for Retake Preparation

  1. Identify Weak Areas: Review the topics you found challenging in your initial exam.

  2. Utilize Practice Exams: TRECCERT’s practice exams mimic the format and difficulty of the actual test, making them an excellent preparation tool.

  3. Enroll in Training Programs: GRC Lab offers TRECCERT-aligned courses and study materials to help candidates strengthen their knowledge.
