The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released a new publication, the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) Small Enterprise Quick Start Guide.
This guide complements the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and aims to be an introductory guide for SMEs. It does a great job at explaining all of the 7 steps of the RMF process, without going into too much detail.
In addition, the publication also references to other NIST publications that provide further guidance, on how to conduct some of the activities mentioned in the RMF. For example NIST SP 800-30 for conducting risk assessments.
